WHAT JARS ARE ACCEPTABLE?
We are working with live moss and plants that will want to live in a closed terrarium environment.
You will need to bring either an old Mason jar with a lid, or a pickle jar with a lid.
Please make sure you have soaked and cleaned your jars. Especially the lids. This can take days. So please start ahead of time.
We will have a handful of pickle jars you can use of ours if you would like but this will be on first come first serve basis!
If you have any extras please bring them for fronds!
Please remove your labels before arriving as well. ( The labels in the pictures are just to show you the 4 different jar styles and sizes that are allowed)
Have a jar and want to know if its an accepted jar for the workshop? Text us a picture of the jar and lid to 361-238-6892 for confirmation that it can work!
How does the day work?
*BRING YOUR OWN JAR & LID*
* Check in with a member of the Planted crew.
Grab an apron and a seat
A member of the planted crew will give you a terrarium building 101.
All of the supplies needed will be provided and ready!
ONLY 1 PERSON PER TERRARIUM.
We do not have the space for 2 people to share a terrarium. Nor is it fun to share putting a terrarium together. Promise!

Thank you for understanding there will be no refunds available. If something happens and you need to reschedule you will be allowed to come in at a different time to complete your terrarium during business hours.
